My education began at the Overseas School of Colombo, Sri Lanka - www.osc.lk followed by five years at boarding school (Stonyhurst College) in England - www.stonyhurst.ac.uk

Fluent in French, at university, I followed a double degree program of King’s College, University of London and l’Université de Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne.

I graduated in 1995 with an LL.B (Hons.) degree as well as a Maîtrise en droit privé mention droit français et anglais and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1996. I was admitted as an Attorney-at-Law and Notary Public, Colombo in 2000.

I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb).

I am also the Hony. Secretary and a Director of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Sri Lanka) branch.
