Jayesh H co-founded Juris Corp in the year 2000 with the objective of becoming the Preferred Law Firm. As a Chevening Scholar he gained experience in English and European Community laws and regulations.

• Advised offshore lenders in structured acquisition of shares of GE Money and GE Capital by Plutus Capital and subsequent acquisition of GE Capital by GE Money requiring RBI approval. Transaction was structured to address concerns regarding indirect change of control at GE Money and GE Capital from the context of offshore lenders;

• Structuring facility extension by offshore lenders to a promoter company involving pledge of listed Indian shares providing indirect control. Advised on concerns regarding disclosure on creation of encumbrance under SEBI (SAST) Regulations and SEBI (PIT) Regulations;

• Legal counsel to the merchant banker of the Issuer and assisting in the listing process of the NCDs. The NCDs were structured to provide exit to the existing PE investors with tax efficient implications pursuant to such exit;

• Represented foreign currency bondholders before Bombay High Court and sought order of winding-up against defaulting company. Also, obtained order directing investigation into the company by Serious Fraud Investigation Office;

• Represented a client before Bombay High Court against a company that apparently committed economic offenses amounting 100 million GBP(approx.). Order passed in our client’s favour. Investigation under progress.
