Dwayne is a senior associate with a growing reputation in the Financial Services Sector.  Dwayne advises on a broad range of corporate, banking and finance transactions, with specialist expertise in corporate structuring, M&A, project financing and bank acquisition, establishment and ongoing obligations. 

He is extremely client focused and approaches his role as local counsel with exceptional project management skills, providing practical and pertinent advice on major cross-border transactions.  Before moving to Lennox Paton, Dwayne worked for a top Magic Circle law firm in London and Moscow. He has a BA from Yale and an LLB (Hons) from Oxford.

  • Advised Steiner Leisure Limited on the $900 million sale of Elemis cosmetics line to L’Occitane.
  • Advised OneSpaWorld on the business combination with Haymaker Acquistion Corp involving $850 million in total consideration and subsequent listing of OneSpaWorld Holdings Limited on NASDAQ.
  • Advised Parker Drilling Company on the restructuring of a Bahamian subsidiary in connection with its emergence from Chapter 11 Protection.
  • Advised Parkland Fuel Corporation with respect to the $1.21 billion acquisition of 75% OF SOL Investments Limited and its Bahamian subsidiaries.
  • Advised GNB Financial Group Ltd from a Bahamian perspective in respect of its $800 million acquisition of 66.7% of FirstCaribbean International Bank from Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC).
