Theodoor Bakker, FCIArb, has practiced law in Southeast Asia since 1984 and is a registered foreign lawyer in Indonesia. He is a member of Section on Arbitration of the ICC Jakarta Board and is a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR. Until a few months ago he served as Vice Chairman of the EU-ASEAN Business Council, where he represented EuroCham Indonesia, on whose Executive Board he had sat since inception.

  • Acted for Expro International Group Holdings, and its Indonesian subsidiary, PT Expro Indonesia, in relation to the Indonesian law aspects of Expro’s USD 1.4 billion global debt restructuring;
  • Acted for Deutsche Investitions-und Entiwicklungsgesellschaft mBH for its multimillion dollar investment in PT Verena Multi Finance tbk, a publicly listed Indonesian automotive financing firm.
