Sascha Hödl is a partner in Schoenherr’s corporate / m&a practice. He focuses on mergers and acquisitions, public takeovers and corporate restructurings. He frequently advises managing and supervisory boards on a broad range of corporate matters. He has been, and is involved in high profile m&a transactions in Austria, in particular in regulated areas (e.g. financial services, telecoms, energy) and continues to play a prominent advisory role in restructuring transactions of financial institutions. Sascha has a degree from Harvard Law School (LLM. 2000) and University of Graz (Dr. iur., 1996, Mag. iur., 1993). He is a lecturer for international mergers and acquisitions at the Vienna Business School.

  • Advised Altstoff Recycling Austria AG on the negotiation and conclusion of a cooperation agreement for the construction of a new high-performance high-tech sorting plant;
  • Advised ARZ Allgemeines Rechenzentrum GmbH, a technology service provider focused on the banking sector in Austria, on its acquisition by Accenture;
  • Advised the supervisory board of Austrian IMMOFINANZ AG in connection with the two competing takeover bids by CPI Property Group SA and S IMMO AG.
