Robert von Rosen

After completing an apprenticeship in banking, Robert studied at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg, Germany. Before joining Walder Wyss, he worked for eight years at a leading Swiss law firm, supplemented by a secondment with the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA.

• Advised as lead counsel Seller and the target group itself in the sale of the Swiss Bilcare Research group, a leading supplier of packaging solutions for the pharmaceutical industry, to the private equitiy firm Lindsay Goldberg.
• Advised the shareholders of Graffiti Holding AG in the sale of the company, known for its subsidiary Mc Optic Schweiz AG, the third largest optical retailer in Switzerland, to Visilab S.A., the Swiss subsidiary of GrandVision N.V. 
• Advised Boehringer Ingelheim in the acquisition of Amal Therapeutics SA, a private Swiss biotechnology company focused on cancer immunotherapy, with a transaction volume of EUR 325 million plus milestone payments.
• Advised the shareholders of Halfmann Goetsch Partner AG, a recognized strong provider of IT compliance and quality management services to primarily pharmaceutical companies, in the sale of the company to NNIT A/S.
• Advised Precision Surfacing Solutions (PSS) (formerly Lapmaster Wolters Ltd), a global supplier of equipment and services for surface enhancement technology, in the CHF 50 million acquisition of the wafering business from Meyer Burger Technology Ltd (SIX Swiss Exchange: MBTN).
