Robert Steeg

Robert has been advising on all legal aspects of international finance transactions since 2005. Before joining Bond Advocaten in 2022, he worked for seven years in the banking and finance department of Stibbe. Prior to that he worked for nine years at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, both in Amsterdam and New York. Robert advises lenders and borrowers on loans, receivables purchase / factoring programmes and financial derivatives transactions. He regularly lectures and writes articles on these topics.

• Advised Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank on the amendment and extension of a EUR 100 million receivables purchase programme for Tata Steel Netherlands.
• Advised Blauwdruk Investeringen in the EUR 26 million financing project for the acquisition of the Ceres retail property portfolio from (funds managed by) GARBE Institutional Capital.
• Advised RWE on an escrow arrangement with respect to Dutch carbon emission allowances.
