Reginald is the Managing Partner of Aluko & Oyebode (the “Firm”) and a Partner in the Firm’s Corporate Finance Practice.  He has over 20 years’ experience in international financial transactions and has advised sponsors, lenders, issuers, underwriters and borrowers in a number of complex cross border financing transactions.

  • Advised the Guaranty Trust Bank Limited in connection with a US$110,000,000 facility granted to a Maltese asset company and a Nigerian project company for the construction of a 48km crude evacuation pipeline, the procurement and installation of a Floating, Storage & Offloading Vessel as well as other ancillary facilities for the production, monetization and evacuation of hydrocarbon reserves from OML 18 and other fields.
  • Advised Guaranty Trust Bank Limited in connection with a US$ 214,117,647 term loan facility provided to Amni International Petroleum Development Company Limited, for the purpose of refinancing an existing debt extended by a multilateral financial institution and utilized for funding the work programme in respect of the Okoro field.
  • Advised an indigenous oil and gas company in connection with its bid for the assets of a renowned international oil company valued at over US$1,000,000,000.
  • Advised DnB Nor Bank ASA and Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank (the “Lead Arrangers”) in connection with the US$1.8bn financing of four deep-water drilling vessels, to be utilised for drilling contracts with Star Deep Water Petroleum Limited (an affiliate of Chevron) and Total E & P Nigeria.
