Qing GUO has been practiced for almost 20 years, and took the position as a senior partner in Dentons for more than 10 years. His practice areas are mainly focusing on Finance, Securities, Equity Investment and Real Estate Financing. Besides, he also has extensive experience in Banking, Trust, Private Equity Fund, Asset- Backed Securitization, Investment and M&A, etc. He has been listed by a number of prestigious legal rating institutions as recommended lawyer in the PRC legal markets, including the Legal Band, Legal500 and Best Lawyer for consecutive years. He is the lead counsel for the cross-border financing project which was prized the “Deals of The Year 2018” by China Business Law Journal. He also won the “Influential Figure Award” in "The Third Forum on Structured Finance and ABS Practice".

  • As the project leader, Qing GUO with his team provided a full range of legal services for the Hengyi (Brunei) PMB Petrochemical Financing Project (the “Project”). In 2011, Hengyi started its cooperation with Brunei government and signed a joint venture agreement to build an integrated refining & petrochemical project in Brunei’s PMB Island, which then been listed as the first batch of the national key construction projects on the call of Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). China Development Bank and Ex-Im Bank of China functioned as the leading syndications, together with Bank of China, ICBC and CMB, jointly set up a bank consortium in view to release a syndicated Loan with maximum of US$1.75 billion.
  • As the project leader, Qing GUO with his team provided a full range of legal services for CITIC-Prudential Acquisition Project of the Entire T2 Office Building of China Resources Qianhai Building (the “Project"). In this Project, the T2 office building is a Grade A office building, with a total construction area about 96,000 square meters. The value size of the Project was almost 8 billion yuan. Given the huge deal value, the transaction timeline design, protection measures and post-investment management of the Project are highly demanded.
  • As the project leader, Qing GUO with his team provided a full range of legal services for CITIC Securities - IQIYI Intellectual Property Supply Chain Finance Special Asset-Backed Plan Phase 1-15 (the “Project"). It was the first IP supply chain ABS shelf offering project ever been approved in China, and this Project has obtained the “No Objection Letter” issued by the Shanghai Stock Exchange, and the shelf offering scale is 3 billion yuan, issued in phases.
  • As the project leader, Qing GUO with his team provided a full range of legal services for CITIC Securities-Jinmao Sinochem Tower Special Asset-Backed Plan (the “Project"). This Project is a CMBS project, and the subject property is the landmark Sinochem Tower located in the core area of Beijing. The original equity owner is Shanghai Jinmao, which is an affiliate of China Jinmao (00817.HK) - a notable real estate company listed in Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
