Protase Ishengoma

Protase is a Senior Partner at IMMMA Advocates and heads the Infrastructure, Energy Oil and Gas Department in the firm. Protase has handled transactions including financial structuring, corporate and individual recoveries, mergers and acquisitions, Project Finance, Real Estate, Infrastructure, EPC, Power, Production Sharing and related Agreements. He also advises in Renewable Energy and Telecoms. 

• Advising the Government on Developing a$3 billion integrated Coal and Iron Ore mines with Conversiom of Coal and Developing a Steel complex.
• Advised an International Contractor on the bid to develop a $ 3.5 billion Power generation project.
• Developed a Model PSA and Oil and Gas Law for Somalia under ADB Financing.
• Development a new Enery Policy and Bill for the Government of Zanzibar.
• Advising a major regional bank on a merger with another regional bank operating in East Africa 
• Regular contributor to the Doing Business Report in Tanzania.
