Natalie Jacobs is a partner in Herzog’s Banking & Finance Department, and heads the structured finance and derivatives pactice.

Prior to joining Herzog, Natalie was a partner at another leading Tel Aviv law firm for more than eight years, following four years at Sidley, New York and two years at Linklaters, New York.

Natalie has extensive experience in advising foreign and domestic financial institutions, including insurance companies and pensions funds, corporations and investment vehicles on derivatives, structured finance and structured products, including swaps and ISDA documentation, capital relief transactions, repo and securities lending transactions, securitisations, custody, clearing  and brokerage agreements. 

This practice area involves legal advice and structuring of transactions in light of the relevant applicable regulatory regime, including insurance and pension investment restrictions, banking regulatory and capital regimes.

  • Advised an Israeli bank in a NIS 300 million sale of 80% of a pool of residential real estate loans to a major Israeli insurance company.
  • Advised an Israeli bank in a NIS 130 million financing of a securitization vehicle, the underlying of which are retial loans originated by non-bank financial institution.
  • Advised three major Israeli insurance companies in all of their ISDA Agreements and derivatives transactions.
  • Advised a major Israeli insurance company in a global custody and securities lending facility with one of the leading international banks.
  • Advised an Israeli large corporations on all of its derivatives, brokerage and clearing related agreements.
