Monalisa leads the Energy Practice Group of PJS Law, and is recognized as a leading practitioner in Asia-Pacific. She is a member of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IBPA) and a Professor at the Ateneo Law School in Makati City, Philippines.

The Partnership is currently made up of nine (9) female lawyers and five (5) male lawyers. Each of the 9 female lawyers currently heads different practice groups.
PJS Law is one of the first firms to implement a telecommuting program in the Philippines, and probably the only Philippine law firm today that has institutionalized such program. The partners had anticipated the growing concern on work-life balance resulting from worsening traffic conditions in Metro Manila.

Since the Firm’s inception, PJS Law is also known for its mentoring program whereby women partners who are mothers mentor associates who are mothers/expectant mothers to provide coaching on balancing the demands of work and parenthood (solo parent or as part of a husband-wife/partners team).
