Previous chair of the Public Company Advisory Group, Michelle is a senior partner in the Securities and M&A Groups. Noted for her versatility and breadth of expertise, Michelle has over 30 years of experience in securities law, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, acquisition finance, high-yield debt and complex securities offerings.

Michelle serves as a senior partner mentor at the Firm, where she meets with women associates on one-to-one and group bases. She also regularly speaks to the Firm on a global basis regarding issues relating to work-life balance as well as diversity and inclusion matters.

  • Represented Macquarie Infrastructure Corporation (NYSE: MIC) and its related entities in the US$4.475 billion sale of its Atlantic Aviation business to KKR (NYSE: KKR).
  • Represented Lantheus Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: LNTH), a developer of diagnostic imaging products, in the acquisition of Progenics Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: PGNC), an oncology company.
  • Represented EchoStar Corporation (NASDAQ: SATS) in the tax-free spin-off and merger of its broadcast satellite service business, including nine satellites and certain real estate owned by EchoStar, with a subsidiary of DISH Network Corp. (NASDAQ: DISH).
  • Represented LifePoint Health, Inc. (NASDAQ: LPNT) in its US$5.6 billion sale of the company to RCCH HealthCare Partners, owned by funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, LLC (NYSE: APO).
  • Represented Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: and SIX: ZBH), a global medical technology leader, and ZimVie Inc. (NASDAQ: ZIMV) in the spinoff of ZimVie, Zimmer Biomet's former Dental and Spine businesses.
