Jun Peng

Mr. Peng is one of the most preeminent Chinese lawyers in international investment and international trade. Mr. Peng advices both governmental and commercial clients on compliance with WTO rules and trade agreements. He represents Chinese government in the WTO dispute settlements and is the first Chinese counsel defending Chinese government in WTO oral hearings. Mr. Peng advices Chinese government on negotiation of bilateral and multilateral investment agreements and trade agreements and on enactment of overseas investment regulations. He also represents Chinese companies in many overseas direct investment projects and some of his deals are ranked as benchmark deals of the year. Mr. Peng is advisor to the newly established Department of Pilot Free Trade Zone and Free Trade Port under China’s Ministry of Commerce. Mr. Peng has been ranked as leading lawyer by international legal rating agencies such as Chambers & Partners, Asialaw, IFLR 1000 and Legal 500.
