Jaime Senior

Partner at Headrick. Mr. Senior concentrates his practice in matters of civil, commercial and business organizational laws generally, with an emphasis on banking and financial transactions and foreign investment.  Mr. Senior is dual qualified in the Dominican Republic and New York, and practiced as an associate at Sidley Austin LLP’s New York office for seven years before joining the firm as Partner.

• Represented Tropicalia (Cisneros Real Estate) in connection with US$119.5 million financing extended by IDB and IFC.
• Advised Spectrum Brands in connection with the sale of its battery and lighting unit (including the “Rayovac” brand) valued at US$2 billion.
• Represented Vinci Airports in the acquisition of Aerodom, operator of six airports in the Dominican Republic, and the subsequent US$533 million international bond and bank financing undertaken by Aerodom.
• Advised Third Point LLC and Discovery Land Company in the acquisition of Playa Grande Holdings, and subsequently in ongoing the development of the Playa Grande Golf Resort.
• Represent Scotibank in a US$484 million facility extended to Phoenix Tower, including various subsidiaries and operating companies in the Dominican Republic.
