During her practice of over 25 years, she has been at the forefront of the legal market, advising prominent strategic and financial investors on numerous landmark transactions and major privatisations. Itır has vast experience of structured equity investments, joint ventures and private equity funds and holds an industry specialism with a focus on financial services, consumer goods & retail, infrastructure and energy.   • Advised Eti Bakır, the Turkish mining company, in relation to the acquisition of UK based inorganic cobalt and nickel chemicals producer ICoNiChem from GIL Investments
  • Advised Turkey Wealth Fund in relation to the sale of its minority shares in Borsa Istanbul, a Turkey-based stock exchange, to Qatar Investment Authority (QIA)
  • Advised CVC Capital Partners in relation to the acquisition of certain assets of D Marinas B.V., a leading international operator of 14 Premium yacht marinas in the eastern Mediterranean and Gulf region, from the leading Turkish conglomerate; Dogus Holding
  • Advised Yamma Investments, an SPV controlled by Metric Capital, in the acquisition of a 30% stake in Sanovel Pharmaceuticals, the leading Turkish pharmaceuticals company
  • Advised the Chinese Consortium comprised of China Merchants Expressway Network & Technology Holdings Co. Ltd, China Merchants Union (BVI) Limited, Jiangsu Expressway Company Limited, Zhejiang Expressway Co. Ltd., Anhui Expressway Company Limited and Sichuan Expressway Co on their proposed acquisition of majority stake in ICA, the concessionaire of the 3rd Bosphorus Bridge and the Northern Marmara Motorway in Turkey
