Innocent Kihika

Innocent is a Partner at the firm. He has received formal legal education from Uganda and the United States of America. He worked with the Government of Uganda in the electricity sector making him one of the few legal experts with practical knowledge of the energy sector in the country.

• Adivised Unergy Limited in respect of developing, financing, building and operating a 20MW biogas renewable energy project.
• Advising USAID Power Africa Uganda Electricity Supply Accelerator on the bankability of and effect on the PPAs in the electricity subsequent to the removal of the deemed energy provisions from the PPAs.
• Review of the REFIT Guidelines for renewable energy plants and design of electricity tariff models and tariff structures for the Electricity Regulatory Authority.
• Advisisng Jinja Waste to Energy on an electricity generation project.
