Ingrid Pierce is Walkers' Global Managing Partner and a member of the Firm's Management and Partnership Committees.
 
Ingrid is recognised as one of the world's leading investment funds lawyers. She regularly acts for major institutions, asset managers, reinsurers, trustees and other fiduciaries. Her clients include many of the Who's Who of asset managers.  

Walkers has over 60% female staff and believes strongly in gender equality. The firm is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.   • Acted for Exodus Point on the launch of its flagship fund structure (over $8 billion) and ongoing representation.
  • Acting for Institutional Trustee on complex restructuring of multiple commercial trusts and creation of new trust structures, involving drafting transaction documents. First deal of its kind for client. Value $1bn.
  • Advising Investment Fund on investigation action, fiduciary duties of board and liquidation issues. Value $100m
  • Acting for buyer of shares in Cayco, including restructuring of shareholding, diligence on target and advising on post-closing restructuring of share exchange. Value $300m. High profile shareholders.
  • Acting for principal of a Bank on the initial acquisition and subsequent MBO. Value $350m.

Ingrid routinely acts on complex, cross-border transactions, which involve private client work or restructurings and for institutional banks and trust companies. However, the vast majority of these deals are confidential.
