Ha H Luu

Ha regularly counsels Fortune 500 clients in many of Vietnam’s most complex and largest acquisitions, concession right negotiations, project development and financing works, disputes, and regulatory audits and controversies. Prior to private practice, Ha managed the Vietnam legal function of Vinaconex, IFC-funded project, Unilever, and Unocal (Chevron). His works often involved complex legal, political, and diplomatic considerations.

Ha specializes in Energy and Infrastructure Projects. He regularly counsels Fortune 500 clients and major regional companies on many of Vietnam’s most complex and largest projects and transactions involving sophisticated political, diplomatic, bureaucratic, social and legal considerations. He has been instrumental in drafting regulations affecting Vietnam energy sector.

• Advising project sponsors on the development of the South Vietnam Petrochemicals Complex Project;
• Advising Murphy Oil on various acquisitions and concession right negotiations for various oil and gas projects;
• Advising Repsol and Idemitsu on gas sales and commercialization of its natural gas discoveries;
• Advising a major regional energy client on the development and extension of gas to power projects;
• Advising Super Energy on its multiple acquisitions of various solar and wind power projects.
