Gil has extensive experience in a variety of civil areas and focuses on capital markets, including public offerings, M&A, and insolvency and investment and financing transactions. He provides ongoing legal counsel for leading public companies in all areas of corporate and securities law and has been involved in large-scale debt arrangements and restructuring.

  • Represented Israel Discount Bank Ltd. (IDB) in its effort to collect its debt from Eurocom Communications Ltd., one of Israel's largest private holding groups. IDB is the largest creditor of the Eurocom Group.
  • Represents  Israel Natural Gas Lines Ltd. in its first listing for trading on TASE of the Company’s existing debentures (IPO) for NIS 1.2 billion.
  • Was appointed as a trustee in a stay of proceedings of the Globus Max movie theatre chain (on behalf of Psagot Investment House Ltd.), together with 2 other trustees, in order to formulate a recovery plan or a plan to sell the company.
  • Was appointed by the court to be a temporary receiver, overseeing IDC's dissolution. Gil was selected from a list of officials that are recommended by the Official Receiver.
