Fatima is a partner in the Banking & Finance team (Bahrain) and a member of the Global R&I Committee. She is experienced in R&I, project finance, corporate finance and trade finance. Fatima is a member of BakerWomen, which aims to improve progression of female professionals in the workplace.

It is Baker McKenzie’s future ambition to further champion female talent and to build a gender-balanced pipeline in all our senior roles globally. Regionally our Middle East BakerWomen initiative builds on this ambition by fostering a strong sense of community; the committee's efforts were awarded the International Law Firm of the Year for Women (Lexis Nexis Middle East in Law Awards, 2022).
Globally the Firm has set gender aspirational targets 40:40:20, to represent 40% women, 40% men and 20% flexible (women, men or non-binary persons). This target applies to partners, senior business professionals, Firm committee leadership and candidate pools for recruitment.
