Fabio Guzmán Saladín

As the co-chair of the corporate and business practice, Fabio provides experienced legal counsel to public and private entities throughout every stage of their business. He has represented a wide range of domestic and international companies, including financial institutions doing business in the Dominican Republic, mergers and acquisitions and project finance. He has represented several multinationals in complex bidding negotiations and government contracts in the country.

• Legal counsel of Wolverine World Wide on general corporate and tax matters in the Dominican Republic.
• Main advisor of Airline Pawa Dominicana, Pan American Airways, in the first major bankruptcy and restructuring proceeding in the Dominican Republic.  Fabio is actually reprensenting 95% of the restructuring and insolvency cases in the country.
• Assisted 12Tree Finance in the agricultural sector in the Dominican Republic for an investment of US$ 60 million.  
• Advised Netflix in relation to the production of a film in the country valued in over US$60 million per season.
