Diego specializes in banking and finance, securities, corporate, mergers and acquisitions.
He participated in several debt issuances, among which Kimberly Clark de México, S.A.B. de C.V. for the amount of$10 billion pesos stands out. He has also participated in several M&A transactions, mainly focused on the Mexican financial and banking sector. Likewise, he has participated in several local and transnational financing transactions, advising both the banking institutions and the lenders.

• Advised Internacional de Inversiones, S.A.P.I. de C.V. (“IDEI”) in the first issuance in Mexico of a super green bond through long-term notes (certificados bursátiles) for an aggregate amount of MXN$800,045,000,000 (Eight hundred million forty-five thousand Mexican pesos). The payment of outstanding principal amounts of such bonds is partially guaranteed by the International Finance Corporation, a global development institution member of the World Bank Group.
• Assisted Kimberly-Clark de México, S.A.B. de C.V. in the structuring and implementation of a new debt program in the Mexican Stock Market. The process required special authorizations from the Mexican National Banking and Securities Commission. S+S assisted in the issuance of long-term debt certificates by the amount of $10,000,000,000.00 (Ten billion Mexican Pesos) under the program of long-term debt certificates to the amount of $16,000,000,000.00 (Sixteen billion Mexican Pesos)
• Acted as special external legal counsel to INVEX Controladora, S.A.B. de C.V., in connection with an MXN$6,000,000,000 million revolving long and short-term debt bond program, including its first issuance for MXN$ 1,025,000,000.00.
