Alberto Saavedra

Partner of the firm since 1992, Alberto is currently the managing partner of the firm. He has considerable experience in financial markets, foreign investment, mergers and acquisitions, as well as in project finance. In addition, he is counselor to prominent families and advisor on estate planning. His ability to perform in different practice areas has allowed him to serve as a corporate governance consultant for public and private companies. He is member of several boards of directors of these companies.

• Advised Alfa, S.A.B. de CV. In the implementation and execution of the Definitive Agreements under the Proposed Merger of Axtel and Alestra (subsidiary of Alfa);
• Advised Comercial Mexicana in the sale of its department stores for approximately 2,200 million dollars to  Organización Soriana S.A.B. de C.V.;
• Kimberly Clark Mexico . Advised KCM in derivative transactions;
• Advised the Mexican Stock Exchange in a wide rage of finance matters

He has a law degree from Universidad Iberoamericana with a specialization on Commercial Law from the Universidad Panamericana.
