Burure is a Partner at IMMMA Advocates, whose practice areas include corporate compliance matters, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, mining, energy and oil and gas. Burure assists senior partners in several major financial transaction including syndicated lending transactions and restructuring projects in Tanzania. Burure has vast expertise in conducting due diligence and provision of legal advisory in finance and corporate commercial matters reviewing and drafting financial agreement including facility agreements and major term loans involving local and international banks.

• Advising an internation oil & gas exploration and production company on a GBP 390.6 Million share acquisition. The work included advising the client on the legal and regulatory framework in Tanzania in light of the anticipated transaction which includes the petroleum laws, competition laws and tax laws and assisting and advising the client in preparing, filing and obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals in order to implement transaction in Tanzania.
• Advising Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank (TDB) in a secured USD 12 Million facility to finance the development of a series small hydro power plants in Tanzania. 
• Assisted in the preparation of the security documents which had to be executed in Tanzania in favour of a Major International Bank and an International Oil company involving USD 26 Million.
• Part of the team that successfully advised the Company for Habitat and Housing in Africa (Shelter Afrique) in a USD 14.5 Million secured lending to the National Housing Corporation in Tanzania which was secured against the borrower’s properties.
• Assisted in the preparation of the facility agreement and security documentation in favour of a Tanzanian Bank in the sum of USD 13.5 Million.
