Ayesha Waheed represents developers and lenders renewable and conventional power generation, oil and gas, and infrastructure projects, and has experience in all aspects of structuring, negotiating, and drafting finance and commercial documents in connection with project financings and privatizations around the world.

  • Power - Advised EBRD in connection with a $225 million facility provided to EnerjiSA Enerji for purposes of upgrading its electricity distribution assets; advised Akfen Renewables in connection with the project financing for the development, construction, operation, and maintenance of (i) a portfolio of solar power plants in Turkey financed by EBRD and commercial banks and (ii) four wind farms in Turkey financed by EBRD and commercial banks with ECA cover; and advised Akfen Renewables in connection with the financing for its acquisition of Zorlu Ruzgar, a wind farm operator in Turkey
  • Infrastructure - Represented Yilport Holding in connection with ECA covered loans for its port in Latin America
  • Oil & Gas - Represented the commercial banks in connection with a $2.55 billion syndicated facility for the Australia Pacific LNG project
