Aniket Sengupta is a Partner with the Aviation and the Banking & Finance Practice Group at L&L Partners [formerly Luthra & Luthra Law Offices] with over fifteen (15) years of experience in the fields of aviation, banking and finance, infrastructure and project finance.

Aniket has advised several banks and financial institutions, domestic and international, and various borrower companies, in relation to project financing, structured financing, external commercial borrowing and acquisition funds transactions. Some of the major clients he has advised in his career are: State Bank of India, ICICI Bank Limited, Nordic Investment Bank, Axis Bank Limited, Alstom Bharat Forge Power Limited, Kingfisher Airlines, Air India Limited, Bangalore International Airport Limited and Citibank.

  • Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited – ICICI Bank: involving two rupee term loan facility aggregating to Rs. 6500,00,00,000 by ICICI Bank Limited to ONGC Petro-additions Limited. 
  • Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited: involving the financing of three projects relating to a total manufacturing capacity of 11550 tons per dayfor urea and 6600 tons per day for ammonia and having a debt size of approximately Rs. 16,500 crores, possibly one of the largest in the debt market for this financial year till date.
  • Bangalore International Airport Limited: Advised Bangalore International Airport Limited in relation to a term loan facility of Rs. 1,100 crores availed by Bangalore International Airport Limited from ICICI Bank Limited and Axis Bank Limited for part financing of the expansion of terminal T1 of the Bengaluru International Airport.
