Angela Mndolwa

Angela is a partner at IMMMA Advocates. Before joining IMMMA, Angela was with Norton Rose Fulbright, a well-established global firm. Angela advises clients on a range of corporate matters, including acquisitions, disposals (including by auction), joint ventures, schemes of arrangements, takeovers, company formation, corporate governance, commercial contracts and general corporate advice on an ad hoc basis. She has advised a diverse base of private and listed national and international clients with a high level of experience acquiring assets as a part of an ongoing programme through to small companies embarking on their first acquisition and thus requiring not only a great degree of legal guidance but also practical/commercial advice. The majority of her transactional work had cross-border elements which involved instructing and working with foreign counsel and helping to find solutions to local law issues.

• Advised Medco Energi/Medco Group in its GBP 390 Million acquisition of Oil and Gas exploration and production group company.
• Advised in major corporate compliance project, for MIC Pulic Company Limited in the initial public offering process in the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange.
• Advised Linton Park Plc in its $24 Million acqusiton and set up of a farming, production, processing, selling and export of range of agriculture products in Tanzania.
• Advising International Finance Corporation in a major financing project for the set up, construction, equipping and operation of a plaza by Peninsula Plaza Limited, a project worth USD 6.7 Million.
