Financial and corporate

Wildgen is active across the financial and corporate space and has expertise in restructuring and investment funds work. 

The firm’s banking team is particularly active in the areas of corporate financing, bank lending and structured finance transactions for local enterprises.  

The investment funds team is active on setting up and structuring a range of different fund types, particularly on regulatory matters related to alternative funds and UCITS. 

The M&A team acts on a mix of domestic and cross-border complex transactions such as acquisitions, joint ventures, mergers and spin-offs for acquirers, sellers and targets. 

Restructuring has been a key area for the firm in recent deals, with the firm advising international clients on matters ranging from post-acquisition reorganisations to local aspects of Chapter 11 reorganisations. 

The firm opened a London representative office during November 2018 and hired Mark Shaw from Chenavari Financial Group to lead the branch. Investment funds partner Antonios Nezeritis departed to Ashurst, and corporate partner Pierre Metzler left to become a notary.
