Turan Legal and Tax Services is a law firm based in Baku, Azerbaijan and was founded in 2018. The firm is specialised in the corporate sector and actively advises on cross-border transactions, investments, capital markets and joint-venture deals. Sectors of focus include education, life sciences and pharmaceuticals, retail, technology and construction.  

Highlights

In September 2024, the firm advised Push30 on a funding round which shortly followed behind a bridge financing. The investment financing from an Azerbaijani venture capital fund required complex regulatory structuring, while the deal itself involved subsidiaries in multiple jurisdictions  

The firm was also involved in VC funding work for clients including the Sabah Hub Innovation Center, which established a regional venture fund registered in Luxembourg. The deal marked the first regional venture fund to set up to invest in Azerbaijani start ups.
