Acting for Philip Morris International in its EUR 16 billion public offer for all shares in Swedish Match, as well as acting as lead legal advisor in respect of the bridge facility and subsequent term loan facility arranged by Bank of America Merill Lynch and Citibank for the purpose of the financing. This is the largest ever cash deal, and the largest M&A deal in the Nordics in 15 years.

Acting for Pareto Securities in a bond issue which was made to facilitate the acquisition by CVC of shares in SGL International A/S from AEA. The EUR 750 million senior secured bond was issued by a Danish bidco acquiring SGL International A/S. This is the single largest high-yield bond issue ever made in the Nordics and a landmark transaction for the Nordic market.
