The firm assisted in cross border and local lending, including corporate lending and complex syndicated loan agreements governed under English law. The firm also worked on project financing, from several sources including traditional bank loans but also bond issuances. In regard to projects, the firm not only assisted in financing, but also in supply agreements and project management.
In capital markets work the firm assisted issuers in innovative bonds, including the first ever bond issue by a Turkish municipality. The team also assisted banks in the issuance of lease certificates, securitisations, and international bond issues. In addition, the team was active in capital markets equity with several IPO’s.
The M&A group at the firm was active in managing cross-border acquisitions on both the buy and sell side. It often managed deals in a variety of industries from renewable energy to banking, to manufacturing and pharmaceuticals. The firm also assisted industry players and private equity companies in their acquisitions, joint ventures and mergers.
Project development work range from acquisitions, public procurement offers, and contacts. The group was especially strong in energy transactions ranging from wind, geothermal and nuclear.
