  • Advising Mabey Bridge in its Bidding process for 60 steel bridges to be used in the Republic of Panama. Morgan & Morgan has been engaged to prepare bid requirements, as well as litigation matters related to the project, such as decisions of authority to reject Mabey´s proposal;
  • Advising Hidrotenencias, a company that owns and operates three run-of-the-river hydropower plants, with the sale of their stake in the company to EnfranGen Spain, S.A.;
  • Advising General Electric in connection with the worldwide sale of GE Water & Process Technologies, acquired by French company Suez and Canadian group Caisse de Dépot et Placement de Quebec.;
  • Advising Shanghai Gorgeous Investment Development, with respect to the development of the port of Isla Margarita. The port is located at the Atlantic entrance to the Panama Canal and is expected to have an annual capacity of 3 million TEU;
  • Advising Minera Panama in connection with US$6.4 billion copper mining project, the biggest private sector investment in Panama’s history;
  • Advising Metro de Panama, in connection with EPC Contract for lines one, two and three of Panama City’s Metro, the most important public infrastructure project under development in the Republic of Panama;
  • Advising T.Y. Lin International Panama, Project Manager in the project for the fourth bridge over the Panama Canal, in its consulting work at the Ministry of Public Works of the Republic of Panama to draft the specifications and to prepare the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for this project;
  • Advising The AES Corporation in the development of an integrated gas to power facility in the Telfers Islands. The project consist of a 380MW net combined cycle gas-fired power plant and an onshore LNG import terminal with an 180,000 m3 storage tank, as well as the construction of power evacuation facilities.
