Meysan is a key dispute resolution firm in Egypt, expanding rapidly and steadily as we take on cases of high caliber and complexity, including several high-profile arbitrations with a connection to Egypt and the GCC.
Our dispute resolution practice is recognized as one of the leading names in the region. Our lawyers have been involved in numerous Investor-State arbitrations, as counsel or arbitrator. We have consistently achieved important victories in some of the most notable regional and international arbitration cases.

Allegations of conspiracy and bribery led to a $1.6 billion ICC arbitration award in favor of Iraq Telecom, but enforcement has necessitated global legal actions across multiple jurisdictions, including DIFC, UAE, BVI, Cayman Islands, Switzerland, the US, Lebanon, and Kuwait.
• Advised Agility in a landmark victory in its expropriation claim against the State of Iraq, leading to the annulment of a prior ICSID tribunal award and paving the way for a new arbitration tribunal to reassess Agility’s $380 million investment dispute.
• Acted for Alcazar Capital Limited in the case Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq (the “KRG”) vs. Alcazar Capital.
