In capital markets, the firm is well known for its work in sovereign bond issues, note issues, green bond issues and securitisations. A notable example of the firm's engagement in sovereign bond issues is the recent issue of Hungary’s USD denominated sovereign bonds, consisting of $1.5 billion notes due 2028, $1.5 billion notes due 2032 and USD 1.25 billion notes due 2052 each listed on the London Stock Exchange and governed by English law.
In M&A, the team advised both buyers and sellers in a number of industries. A major deal the team advised on includes advising Vodafone on the sale of Vodafone Magyarország Zrt. ("Vodafone Hungary") to 4iG Nyrt. and Corvinus Zrt, a Hungarian state holding company, for a total of €1.7 billion.
In banking and finance, the firm has notably strong presence in the market advising domestic and international lenders as highlighted with the firm’s recent assistance to first lien and second lien lenders in the financing of MBS Group in relation to a share and asset deal acquisition.
