Kalo & Associates is an established Albanian firm based in Tirana and with an office in Kosovo. It was created in 1994 by PërparimKalo, an M&A specialist.

The firm is a founding member of the SEE Legal network, connecting it to firms in 12 jurisdictions across Southeast Europe. 

Highlights

During the research cycle, the firm was notably active in financial and corporate and project development work. In banking and finance, the firm was predominantly focused on project financing transactions in the renewable energy and real estate/aviation industries. A notable highlight of the firms work includes advising in the development of one of Albania’s largest renewable energy projects, a 600 MW wind and solar farm in Albania for CWP Global. Notably this is the first project of its kind in Albania.

In projects, a similar level of expertise in renewable energy and the aviation industry is illustrated. This is highlighted by the firm being hired in the negotiation of the Project Development Agreement with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Economy. The project intends to be the first wind project part of the first wind auction led by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy.
