The banking and finance team has an equally prolific record of transactional work and regulatory work. The transactional work of the team consists of advising lenders on acquisition financing, project financing and refinancing.
The team provided regulatory advice and support in a broad range of issues, including contingent convertible bonds and arising corporate issues, fund activity and RRF funds formation, EU financial instruments implementation, due diligence of NPLs, and NPL-backed securitization issues and banking compliance. Its clients are mostly banks, investment funds and financial institutions.
The corporate and M&A team worked on behalf of the sell side and the acquisition side on acquisitions in various industries, including shipping, traditional energy and the electricity sectors, in particular, hospitality and, most notably, the renewable energy sector.
In project development the firm advised mostly investors and also developers on concessions, asset privatization, land acquisition, and projects in the energy sector. The firm’s work includes traditional energy infrastructure and renewable energy constructions.
