The firm boasts excellent teams across all practice areas. In banking and finance, the team advises lenders and borrowers in syndicated loans, credit agreements and bridge loans related to project financing, corporate financing, refinancings and acquisition finance.  

The capital markets team regularly advises issuers in debt and equity related deals, specifically tender offers, public offerings, secondary offerings, bond issuances and delistings. The team also works with structuring investment funds.  

The M&A team has experience with both public and private M&A transactions. It advises primarily private equity investors in acquisitions, restructurings and investments, but does also work with strategic investors.

Over the research period, the practice was active in the banking, capital markets, M&A and projects practice areas.  

The banking team advised syndicated lenders in cross-border financing transactions with complex regulatory components.  

The firm’s capital markets work consisted of advising clients on ongoing regulatory matters and quota offerings in the real estate sector.  

The M&A team was active in the food production, renewable energy, automotive and real estate industries to name a few. The firm advised buyers and sellers in cross-border acquisitions, and also led corporate reorganization transactions of substantial size.  

The firm’s project development team was engaged in various public-private partnerships such as wastewater treatment plants, hospital constructions and highways. The team frequently worked with development banks. Additionally, the firm did a great deal of work in the mining sector. 

Partner Diego Carrión departed the M&A team to join Cuatrecasas.
