GM Legal Law Firm

Founded in 2022, GM Legal Law Firm joined the rankings in 2025. The firm is based in Yerevan and handles corporate law and commercial projects, disputes, IP, and telecoms/media regulatory matters. The firm was founded by banking, insolvency and property lawyers Gohar Meloyan and Hayk Sargsyan and is led by managing partner Vahagn Grigoryan. The team has been especially involved in insolvency proceedings.

Highlights

The firm, led by Vahagn Grigoryan, was supporting Sargis Carolina, one of Armenia’s largest food producers and alcohol importers, through a complex insolvency case involving $8 million of debt. The project spanned Armenian, Finnish, and Estonian legal regimes and involved an in-court process to reject certain claims against it as well as a financial restructuring.

In related, work the firm also worked with Finnish counsel to advise Saimaa Beverages, which is an affiliate of Sargis Carolina, in its cross-border insolvency proceedings. The team was also working on insolvency-related matters for Qaryak Media and Express Credit.
