  • Advising a leading international bank on a EUR258 Million EKN (Swedish Export Credit Agency) supported term loan facility and a tied commercial term loan facility to the Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development.
  • Advising Advance Global Capital on its US$4,000,000.00revolving credit facility to a leading receivable finance company in East Africa;
  • Advising the World Bank through its Long Term Finance Department on the legal, tax and regulatory aspects for the set- up of an infrastructure debt fund and issuances of project bonds;
  • Advising the Islamic Development Bank on the entire regulatory regime for sovereign debt issuances by the Government of Uganda 
  • Advised an Asian Export – Import bank on the legality and enforceability of counter guarantees issued by itself with respect to facilities advanced in Uganda 
  • Advised Platinum Equity on its US$ 2BN acquisition of Johnson and Johnson’s blood monitoring business; 
  • Dyer & Blair Investment Bank on the proposed transfer of its retail business to another regulated entity in Uganda;
  • Advising a leading international food services and facilities management company on its joint venture arrangement with and a Ugandan company for operations in the Oil & Gas sector
  • Advised Schlumberger Oilfield on its contractual obligations and liability under a Joint Venture arrangement with a company operating in Uganda and South Sudan. 
  • Acting for a consortium comprised of a leading multi-national utility company which operates largely in the water treatment and waste treatment and an international civil construction, public works, port operations, waste, water and logistics company on its pre - contractual arrangement and tender preparation for the proposed Waste Management PPP under the auspices of the city municipal authority
  • Advising Total E & P Uganda BV on its entire regulatory and permitting requirements for the upstream project in Uganda;
  • Advising Tritente Global Energy on its proposed set – up of a 100MW IPP Solar project in Uganda;
  • Advising the Uganda Securities Exchange on the infrastructure harmonisation of the Smart Order Router Central Depository System Interface and Messaging Platform with respect to the East African Security Exchanges.
