CERHA HEMPEL Dezsö & Partners is the Hungarian arm of leading Austrian firm CERHA HEMPEL. The Budapest branch, which dates back to the 1990s, has a team of around 30 legal professionals and is part of a network of offices that also encompasses branches in Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Romania and the Slovak Republic.

Highlights  

Recent work of the firm includes advising EBRD on the sale of the 15% stake in Ertse Bank Hungary back to the Ertse Group Bank.

 In M&A, the firm is also notably active in various acquisitions, joint ventures and asset acquisitions in a range of industries such as manufacturing, real estate, transport and technology. A notable highlight of the firm's work in this sector includes advising Tenant Company in connection with its acquisition of M&F Management and Financing GmbH (M&F).  

In project development, the firm advised on large projects for clients in construction, public transport, government initiatives and automotive sectors. A recent project focuses on advising the Ministry of Construction and Transport of Hungary in connection with the design and implementation of the railway infrastructure development related to the development of the industrial-innovation development area in Iváncsa.
