Working as lead counsel, the team has worked on establishing contracts, agreements, and documents adapted for the client to use during the development of a real estate project. This has included short form and long form consultancy services agreements, professional services agreement, development management agreement, framework services agreement, construction contracts, and a performance letter of guarantee. The project is currently ongoing and led by partner Walid Honein.
The firm is also assisting an industrial company wishing to procure the engineering, construction and commissioning of a large power plant for its personal use. This includes the review and amendment of the EPC agreement on a FIDIC basis as well as providing advice on the legal and regulatory requirements for the client to own and operate the power plant from a Lebanese law perspective. The transaction closed in May 2025 and was led by partners Chadia El Meouchi and Walid Honein.
