Argus Partners merged with Udwadia & Udeshi to form Udwadia Udeshi & Argus Partners in 2012, which was renamed to Argus Partners in 2015. The firm boasts a pan-Indian presence with offices in Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai.

In banking, the firm’s clients include nationalised and international banks, financial institutions, non-banking financial institutions, debt funds and corporate houses. Although the firm typically acts for lenders and investors, it also has experience in advising borrowers. 

The corporate team is experienced in sectors including banking and financial services and industrials and manufacturing. 

The private equity team is experienced in advising clients on venture capital and private equity investments.
