  • Recently acted for a major international banking institution and has effectively secured interim worldwide freezing orders, supported by disclosure orders, freezing the assets, bank accounts and the international chain of ownership of the guarantors’ assets. The firm had the international coordination of the litigation, aiming to freeze the assets of the guarantors in 4 different jurisdictions (Cyprus, Russia, Switzerland, Germany), and a corporate structure involving international trusts, and bearer shares.
  • As part of an oil related dispute in New York, which has been described by global financial media as “the biggest oligarch legal battle in the US”, the firm has been instructed to act as Cypriot counsel, in relation to global litigation proceedings between Russian oligarchs which are pending before the Supreme Court for the State of New York. The case is one of the most high profile cases pending in the global litigation sphere with the value of the dispute exceeding 2 billion USD.
  • Acting for a multinational corporation with its shares listed in the stock exchange of an EU MS, the firm has recently opposed the recognition and enforcement of an arbitral award in Cyprus, issued by the LCIA in London for a claim amounting to approximately 1 billion USD

  • Recently acted for RPT Group in connection with the sub-lease of various plots of land to Halliburton, the development and construction of various offices/warehouses and workshops to be used by Halliburton for energy related purposes. The firm had the primary responsibility for the drafting of all legal documentation and has successfully undertaken all other regulatory matters. The transaction is one of the first developments in the Cyprus energy sector.
  • Represented a leading Greek company, Iktinos Hellas, which is listed in the Athens Stock Exchange in connection with its acquisition of a major stake in another company from the seller, Dolphin Capital, a listed corporation in the AIM – London Stock Exchange.
  • Acted for Rezidor Hotels Aps Danmark in relation to the establishment of Radisson Blu Hotel & Residence in Larnaca (Cyprus)

Data Protection:
