Overview:

  • Atlantia has sold a 11.94% stake in Autostrade per l'Italia (Aspi).
  • 6.94% has been sold to a consortium consisting of Allianz Capital Partners, EDF Invest and DIF Infrastructure IV. The other 5% has been sold to the Chinese Silk Road Fund.
  • Allianz also has the option to acquire a further 2.%% stake by October 31 2018.
  • Aspi is an Italian company that manages the concessions of certain sections of the Italian highway system. The current from of the company began operating in 2002.
