Nafin Mex$5 billion notes issue

Overview:

• Nafin (Nacional Financiera, Sociedad Nacional de Crédito, Institución de Banca de Desarrollo) has issued Mex$5 billion in new notes.
• The company offered Mex$4,965 billion of these to the public and Mex$35 million through Euroclear and Clearstream.
• Santander, BBVA Securities, Citigroup, HSBC, and Merrill Lynch acted as placement agents
• Simpson Thacher & Bartlett advised Nafin alongside Galicia Abogados (Guillermo Pérez Santiago, Jose Alejandro Cortes ) as Mexico counsel.
• Shearman & Sterling acted for Santander alongside Ritch Mueller Heather & Nicolau as Mexico counsel.
