Toyota Industries has acquired Vanderlande Industries from private equity firm NPM Capital, a subsidiary of SHV Holding, for €1.2 billion.
KPMG acted as the financial adviser to Toyota on the deal, while NPM was assisted by Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Vanderlande produces logistic process automation at airports and in the parcel market. Its handling systems move 3.2 billion pieces of luggage a year and sort more than 20 million parcels per day.
