Overview:

• Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen) has offered 4,396,722,912 new shares in a KSh28 billion rights issue.
• The shares were priced at Ksh6.55 per share.
• The government of Kenya owns a 70% stake in KenGen. 
• This is said to be Kenya's largest ever rights offer.
