Nelja Energia €50 million bond issues

Overview:

• Nelja Energia, the largest producer of renewable energy in the Baltic States, has issued €50 million in green bonds on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
• The Green Bond certificate was granted to the issued bonds by the international certification body DNV GL.
• The proceeds from the issuance would be used mainly for the company's new investments in Latvia and Lithuania.
• The green bonds were available to foreign investors (mainly Norwegian).
• Nelja Energia is the first foreign company on the Oslo Børs green list.
