- Cellnex Telecom has made an IPO of €3.5 billion and a listing on the Spanish Stock Exchange, with a Rule 144A/Regulation S offering.
- It was Spain's second largest IPO in 2015, after AENA's €4.8 billion IPO.
- Spanish infrastructure player Abertis decided to list its telecoms operations by spinning it off to form the wholly-owned subsidiary Cellnex Telecom.
- Cellnex Telecom also develops solutions in the field of “smart city” projects and has deployed a network of intelligent communications that facilitate the development of a ecosystem for the Internet of Things (IoT) in Spain.
